Parametric omnidirectional sonar with electronic scanning

Parametric omnidirectional sonar with electronic scanning

The system allows to provide information for identification of moving objects in three-dimensional space under the water, in a single probe.

The uniqueness of the system lies in the fact that it provides sonar images of water environment in 1 second, in three dimensions, and it is based on electronic horizontally and vertically scanning, and it also identifies all moving objects within a radius of 500 m from the outboard equipment place.

Interaction between the operator and the system is fully performed with on-board computer software.

System allows:

  • Build a sonar image of water space in necessary volume, in a single probe (in 1 second);
  • Automatically identify and classify moving objects in a single zone location probe (in 1 second);
  • Automatically perform tracking of detected objects;
  • Explore the area and ponds on the presence of moving objects in a short period of time.

Main technical characteristics

• Radius of action — up to 0.5 km from the place of outboard system installation;
• Scanning depth (with a maximum radius) is up to 60 m;
• Probing-reception time in omnidirectional view — 1 second;
• Equivalent radius of identifiable objects — not less than 0.1 m;
• Electronic scanning horizontally (48 directions) and vertically (5 planes).

System includes:

• Emitting device (omnidirection);
• Receiving device (omnidirection);
• Local device for gathering and processing information;
• Power supply unit.

Emitting device and receiving device are outboard of the system, power supply and the local device for gathering and processing information are onboard. local device for gathering and processing information is a personal computer system unit and an additional control module.

Implementation of the system with a predetermined angle of emission and reception is also available.
